Creating a character
Over the last couple of weeks I have been finding the time to better develop my 3D modelling skills. With the help of The Red Beard's tut videos, I am discovering the power behind the new zModelling brush that zBrush has
Mech Shoulder Armor
This is a bit of shoulder armor for a mech with a mounted machine gun. It was sculpted in ZBrush thentweeked and rendered using 3ds Max.
Mech
This is the start I have made on making a Mech. I have been researching different machine parts and looking at how joints fit together to work them into the model. The focus up to now has been about blocking out
Caveman
This character started off as a sketch then moved into ZBrush. Once I was done sculpting him I done a test render then moved over to 3ds Max where I played around with light and materials to get something more stylish.
Kaleidoscope Motion
The idea behind this was to create a 3D object that has a kaleidoscope design about it. It turned into this 6 point star with a hexagon in its centre. After applying a glass like texture to the model it was rendered
