Tribal Shield
I have been a little bit obsessive over tribal shields lately. Just in terms of Google image searching and drawing what I find interesting about them so I have turned the drawings into a 3D model using ZBrush.
It turned out quite underwater like as if Aquaman came across a long lost hidden tribe that lives under the sea. There is a bit of a hammerhead shark or a stingray in the middle section and also some octopus tentacles.
This was made using mainly the Move, Clay Buildup, Dam Standard and the Smooth brushes in ZBrush. It was rendered with a brass material.
